An equal mix of Chikungunya, Mayaro and O’nyong’nyong VLPs (comprising E1, E2 and capsid proteins), produced in HEK293 cells and available from the Native Antigen Company here.

Antibody was purified from hybridoma cell culture supernatant by affinity chromatography on Protein G 

This antibody recognises Chikungunya virus VLPs. It shows some cross-reactivity with Mayaro envelope proteins in ELISA but does not cross-react with O’nyong’nyong virus or Ross River virus VLPs. It recognises VLPS for CHIKV, MAYV, ONNV and RRV in non-reduced western blot. Antibody not suitable western blot in reducing conditions.
